Handknotted from 100% wool, this rug features organic linear patterning and a rich play of texture. Earthed-toned pile rises from a lighter flatweave foundation, creating gentle contrast and bringing out the natural tonal shifts in the wool.
The contrast between the darker wool pile and the lighter flatweave base is even more striking in person, and the organic lines give my living room a relaxed, modern feel. I've caught myself running my hand across the texture every time I walk by.
The wool pile feels so plush that I keep walking barefoot over it just to feel the contrast against the flatweave base, and the earthy tones tie my whole living room together nicely.
The texture is what sold me—the raised wool pile against that flatweave base gives it a subtle, almost architectural look. It anchors my living room beautifully and feels soft underfoot.
