This basket is for fireplace brushes, blow pokes, and fire tongs in an old farmhouse or barn. It can serve a large group a family-style dinner of the season's harvest. It can also be stored on the wall as a decorative statement piece between uses. This oversized basket is made with 1-inch rattan, creating a beautiful checkerboard weave on the body and base. 

Artisan Made: Designed and handcrafted by Erin and Peggy Pollard and a small team of weavers in Maine and New York.

Note: Due to the freehand nature of our practice, each basket is one-of-a-kind and may have slight variations in shape and size. We do not use molds - each piece holds the spirit of the maker.
