The first night I slept on these, the sateen weave felt noticeably smoother against my skin than any cotton sheets I’ve owned, and the subtle sheen makes the bed look hotel-grade. They’ve held up through a few washes without any pilling or dulling, which is more than I can say for cheaper sets.
I’ve washed these three times now and the sheen hasn’t dulled a bit, plus the mercerized cotton feels even softer against my skin than the first night. The sateen weave has that cool, smooth slide when I get in bed, which is exactly what I was hoping for.
First night in and the sateen weave feels genuinely silky, not that stiff hotel kind of thing. The long-staple cotton’s got a smoothness that’s held up after two washes already, and the subtle sheen is just enough to look classy without being flashy.
