Finally got this on my dining table and the flatweave base lays perfectly flat—no curling corners at all. The monochromatic plaid looks even better in person, subtle but with real depth from the wool.

The chunky high-pile yarns are way more substantial than I expected, giving the rug a cozy, textured feel that photographs don't capture. It looks exactly like the monochromatic plaid described.
