I’ve had it down for two weeks now and the undyed wool already feels softer underfoot than I expected for a flatweave, plus the natural cream tones hide crumbs way better than my old dark rug. The heritage-weight yarn gives it a sturdy heft that stays put even in our busy hallway.

The flatweave texture is surprisingly dense and sturdy underfoot, exactly what I wanted for our hallway. You can really see and feel the hand-carded wool up close, and it lies perfectly flat without curling at the edges.
